• At Private Mini Storage how many units do you have and what range of storage unit sizes do you offer?

  We have units ranging in size from 4'x4' to 12'x24'.

• What are your hours of operation?

  Our gate hours are 7am to 7pm Mon-Sat and 8am-6pm on Sun
  Our office hours are 9am to 6pm Mon-Sat and 9am-5pm on Sun

• Can you help answer questions about storage problems, storage supplies, movers, truck rentals, etc.?

  Our expert staff is here to help solve all your storage problems. We sell boxes and moving supplies and can tell you the most efficient and secure methods to store your property. We can also recommend movers or truck rentals to help solve your storage problems.

• What are my actual move-in costs?

  First month's rent and a $10.00 administration fee. We do have occasional move-in specials and will always attempt to meet any competitors' prices. Once you move in, your rental agreement is on a month-to-month basis.

• Will my stuff be safe at Private Mini Storage?

  Our manager lives on site and we have a coded gate security system. You can provide your own lock or purchase a lock when you move in.

• Do I need insurance for my stored property?

  Check with your homeowners or renters' insurance to see if your stored property is covered by your policy. If you find that you do want insurance, we can provide you the name of an insurance carrier that specializes in self storage.

• What can't I store at Private Mini Storage?

  Common sense and state laws determine what can be stored. Since you alone have access to your space, do not store anything that needs a controlled environment. This would include live animals and plants, explosive or flammable items, toxic materials, food, or liquids. Do not tempt unwanted critters with food, candles, dried flowers or your favorite sweater.

• How do I prevent damage from pests?

  We use an exterminator who inspects and services our facility on a regular basis. Our staff can also provide you with specific packing tips to ensure that your stored property is not damaged.
